Sonu Sood recently revealed that he was offered top political positions including CM, Deputy CM and Rajya Sabha MP but he turned them all down. He was well known hero during the COVID pandemic for his selfless humanitarian work, earning the title “real hero”.

In an interview he said “I was offered the CM post. When I refused they suggested the Deputy CM position and a Rajya Sabha seat. They wanted me to join a political party but I chose to stay away”.
“I believe people enter politics either for money or power and I’m not interested in either. Some say politics gives security and status but I’d rather focus on being an actor and director”.
He also clarified that he isn’t against politics and respects leaders who truly work for the people. His decision reflects his commitment to his craft and his desire to help society without political influence, further strengthening his image as a socially responsible personality.
