Balakrishna’s next film Akhanda 2 – Thaandavam recently completed its first schedule at Ramoji Film City. Balakrishna is currently taking a break to promote his latest release, Daaku Maharaaj, and is celebrating its success.
Meanwhile director Boyapati Srinu and his team have traveled to Prayagraj to shoot key scenes of Akhanda 2 at the Kumbh Mela a spiritual event that occurs once every 144 years.
Some devotional scenes will be filmed during this grand gathering. In the movie, Balayya plays an Aghora a devoted disciple of God.
This year, the Indian government has made large-scale arrangements for the Maha Kumbh Mela expecting 45 crore attendees over 45 days.
Akhanda 2 is a big-budget film where Balayya will be portrayed in a fresh and impactful way. The movie is produced by 14 Reels Plus and is set for a grand worldwide release on September 25th 2025, during Dussehra.
