Kangana Ranaut and Sonu Sood had a fallout after the latter quit Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The hostility occurred when Sonu quit the movie after Ranaut took over as director from Krish Jagarlamudi midway through the shoot. Following Sonu’s exit from Manikarnia, Kangana alleged that he was unwilling to take orders from a female.
On the other hand, Sonu refrained from addressing the accusations and mentioned that he left the film due to major changes made to his role. He also stated that he is not on speaking terms with Ranaut. Years later, Kangana has opened up about her feud with Sood and said it’s not important to stay friends with everyone.
In a recent interaction with Shubhankar Mishra’s YouTube podcast, Kangana said, “It’s not important that we become friends with everyone we meet. You only make so many friends. Those who are upset with me should stay upset with me.”
Previously, Sonu Sood had said he had never spoken to Kangana after Manikarnia. He then added, “People can say whatever they want, but I will never say anything against them. I might feel upset thinking, ‘This person was a good friend and said such things’. I feel that it’s her foolishness, she is not a bad person. But sometimes, when you write or say things, you don’t actually think it through.”
