Arav, who played the villain in Vidaamuyarchi alongside Ajith Kumar, Trisha, Regina Cassandra, and Arjun Sarja, recently shared a shocking incident from the film’s shoot. While filming an intense action scene with a Hummer, he casually asked Ajith if the vehicle could topple.
Ajith laughed and assured him it wouldn’t but in the very next shot, the car lost control and flipped over. Luckily, the Hummer’s strong build prevented a major disaster, though the crash was intense.
As the crew rushed to help, Ajith stayed calm and broke the car’s glass to get them out safely. He even took Arav to the hospital himself. Recalling the moment, Arav said he was terrified, especially since he had just become a father.
The only words Ajith said during the accident were, “Oh my God”. On the way to the hospital, Ajith opened up about personal matters, leaving Arav deeply moved.
Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, Vidaamuyarchi is based on Breakdown and features cinematography by Om Prakash, editing by NB Srikanth, and music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is set to stream on Netflix from March 3rd in multiple languages.
