Dhanush’s third directorial, Jaabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama had its trailer launched today. The film features Pavish, Priya Varrier, Anikha Surendran, Mathew Thomas, Siddharth Shankar, and Rabiya Khatoon in lead roles.
The trailer begins with Dhanush stating it’s a typical love story. It follows Prabhu (Pavish), who falls for Priya’s character, while Nila (Anikha) is preparing for her wedding with Siddharth Shankar. However, the story takes a turn when Pavish reveals that Nila is his ex-girlfriend.
The real twist is that Prabhu and Nila haven’t completely moved on, leading to emotional confusion. What happens when a boy attends his ex-girlfriend wedding? The trailer hints at a fun-filled, chaotic and emotional ride, promising a modern rom-com with humor and drama. GV Prakash’s music and visuals enhance the film’s appeal.
At the end of the trailer, Dhanush says, “Jolly ga Randi. Jollyga Vellandi.” Priyanka Mohan and Dhanush make special cameo appearances, while Sarath Kumar plays an important role.
Produced by Dhanush along with Kasthuri Raja and Vijayalakshmi Kasthuri under Wunderbar Films and RK Productions, the film will release in Telugu on February 21st through Asian Suresh Entertainment LLP.
