Director Pradeep Ranganathan responded to questions about competing with Dhanush. Both Dhanush’s directorial film Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam and Pradeep’s acting film Dragon are releasing on February 21st.
Their trailers received a great response, and promotions have started. At a press meet in Chennai, Pradeep clarified that there is no competition.
He explained that Dragon was initially planned for February 14th but was moved to February 21st for better theater availability. He believes Dhanush’s team had a similar reason.
Regarding his next directorial project, Pradeep said he is currently acting in three films and will decide on his next direction after completing them.
He added that he has worked in IT, short films, directing, and acting, and he takes up opportunities as they come. While he will direct more films in the future, writing scripts takes time.
