Salman Khan recently spoke about his time in prison on a podcast, he shared personal and professional experiences, making it one of the most talked-about moments from the podcast.
Discussing discipline and hard work Salman emphasized that excuses like needing more sleep only slow down success.
He said, “Feeling tired? Get up. Can’t sleep? Do something, and you’ll eventually fall asleep”. He revealed that he usually sleeps for just 1.5 to 2 hours daily, with an occasional 7-hour rest once a month.
Salman also mentioned that during his time in jail he slept because there was nothing else to do. He stressed the importance of always being there for work, family, and friends.
His imprisonment was linked to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case where he was sentenced to five years in 2006 but got bail soon after. Later he was sentenced again and spent a few days in jail before being released on bail.
On the work front Salman is gearing up for Sikandar directed by AR Murugadoss and co-starring Rashmika, set for an Eid release this year.
