Sooraj Pancholi is set to star in his first biopic, Kesari Veer: Legend of Somnath, playing the warrior Veer Hamirji Gohil. The film, packed with action sequences, led to an unfortunate accident on set.
While shooting in Film City, Mumbai, Sooraj was injured during a stunt where he had to jump over an explosion.
The timing was slightly off, and the blast happened too soon, causing severe burns on his thighs and hamstrings due to the strong pyrotechnics. A medical team on set treated him, but despite the painful injury, he continued shooting without a break.
This incident highlights Sooraj’s dedication and passion for acting. The film is directed by Prince Dhiman based on a historic battle at Gujarat’s Somnath temple.
Sooraj will be seen in a new avatar proving his ability to take on challenging roles.
