The makers of the upcoming period drama, Kesari Veer: Legends Of Somnath, have unveiled the first motion poster featuring lead actor Sooraj Pancholi. He steps into the role of Veer Hamirji Gohil, an unsung warrior in this high-octane action film.
Directed by Prince Dhiman and produced by Kanu Chauhan, Kesari Veer: Legends Of Somnath tells the story of brave warriors who fought and sacrificed their lives to protect the famous Somnath temple in Gujarat during the 14th century AD.
After the revered Hindu temple was surrounded by enemies on three sides, Veer Hamirji Gohil, along with his warriors, protected and held the fort for ten days before Gohil was martyred.
The motion poster has set the tone for the film’s release, sparking curiosity among audiences eager to watch the teaser and witness Sooraj Pancholi in a never-seen-before avatar.
The film also stars Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Akanksha Sharma in pivotal roles. Vivek will be seen essaying an antagonist as head soldier of the Tughlaq dynasty.
Produced under Chauhan Studios, Kesari Veer: Legends Of Somnath is slated to land in theaters on March 14, 2025.
