There was a lot of excitement about the release of Shashank Khaitan‘s rom-com Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, set for April 18th.
However, sources have now confirmed that the release date has been changed. The film’s shoot has been extended until March. A close source shared that Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan feel there is room to add more fun elements to the film, so they’ve planned another schedule for scenes set during a destination wedding.
The entire cast, including Varun and Janhvi, will be involved. Karan Johar, known for mastering rom-coms, is leaving no stone unturned to make both Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Tu Meri Main Tera Main Teri Tu Mera set for release in 2025 a big success.
The source also mentioned that besides some scenes, two songs will be filmed during this extended schedule. With around 25 days left to shoot, the film’s release has been delayed.
Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is now expected to release in the second half of 2025. Meanwhile, another Dharma film will take its place on the original release date, with an announcement coming soon.
