Thandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, was released on February 7th. It was directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Bunny Vasu, with Allu Aravind as the co-producer. Made on a budget of around Rs. 90 crores, the film’s songs, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, became chartbusters, increasing the buzz around it.

Thandel has done a theatrical business of Rs. 35.7 crores. To break even, the film needs to collect Rs. 36 crores in share. On the first day, it earned Rs. 11.14 crores in share, making it the highest opening in Naga Chaitanya’s career. The movie now needs another Rs. 24.86 crores in share to reach the break-even point.
