The movie Thandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, was released on February 7th. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film was produced by Bunny Vasu, with Allu Aravind as the co-producer. The music by Devi Sri Prasad created a strong buzz before the release.
The film received positive talk on the first day, leading to strong openings. Interestingly, the collections on the second and third days were almost equal to the first day.

Thandel has done a theatrical business of Rs. 35.7 crore. To reach the break-even point, the film needs to collect Rs. 36 crore share. By the end of the first weekend, it has earned Rs.30.04 crore share. To break even, it still needs Rs. 5.96 crore more.
