After the success of 90s, many films and web series tried to recreate the magic of nostalgia but failed. Now, Aha is coming up with a new original series, Hometown, based on the same nostalgic theme. The teaser was released today.
Sharing the trailer, Aha wrote, “The town where dreams began, where love was first felt, where friendships were forever. #Hometown premieres from April 4th on aha #HometownOnAha”. The series promises a fun-filled, nostalgic journey.
Hometown follows the lives of three friends in the late 2000s and early 2010s capturing their innocence, curiosity, first love, and family bonds. The trailer is packed with humor, and the fresh cast adds charm. Rajeev Kanakala and Jhansi play key roles.
Directed by Srikanth Palle and helmed by showrunner Naveen Medaram, Hometown is produced by MNOP and Amogha Arts. The series will premiere worldwide on Aha on April 4th.
