The CBI has closed its investigation into Sushant Singh‘s death and filed a report in the Mumbai court.
There were two cases, one filed by Sushant father against Rhea Chakraborty and another by Rhea against Sushant’s family.
As per reports the CBI found no evidence to support suspicions around Sushant’s death. He was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14th 2020.
The case was handed over to the CBI in August 2020 and continued for nearly four years. Investigators reportedly found no proof that anyone forced or encouraged Sushant to take his own life.
Rhea and her family have been cleared of all charges. This closure report brings an end to the high-profile case, which had sparked debates about mental health and the workings of Bollywood.
