
Meher Ramesh is often criticized for flops like Sakthi and Bhola Shankar, but few remember that his first two films, Kantri and Billa, were successful. Billa, starring Prabhas and Anushka Shetty, released on April 3, 2009, and has since gained cult status.
While many assumed it underperformed in theatres, the film had decent collections and loyal fans. As Billa completes 16 years since release, audiences are looking back at its box office performance and its place in Prabhas early career.
