RK recently spoke about his bond with Vadivelu during a press meet at a film studio. RK shared that he always admired Vadivelu’s comedy and wanted to work with him.
He even offered Vadivelu Rs. 1 crore as an advance for a film. However, Vadivelu was focused on playing only lead roles at that time and did not accept the offer.
RK jokingly said the advance is still with Vadivelu and hopes to work with him someday.
Since Vadivelu did not take up the role RK replaced him with Thambi Ramaiah, who brought his own charm to the character. RK praised his performance, but still respects Vadivelu.
RK’s upcoming film directed by R. Kannan, revolves around pets and social issues like honor killings. RK also clarified that he has no plans to enter politics focusing instead on cinema and philanthropy.
