
Nithin and Sreeleela‘s film Robinhood was released on March 28th as an Ugadi special. Directed by Venky Kudumula, the film had decent expectations. It was produced by Y. Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Cricketer David Warner also made a cameo appearance, adding to the buzz around the film.
However, Robinhood received negative talk on its first day and couldn’t capitalize on the festive holiday advantage. The film’s collections dropped further on weekdays.

Robinhood did a theatrical business of Rs. 28 crore. To break even, the film needed to collect Rs. 28.5 crore share. However, in 5 days, it managed to earn only Rs. 5.6 crore share and Rs. 10.75 crore gross.
