Ajay Devgn was set to collaborate with Luv Ranjan again for a film titled “Ranger” following “De De Pyaar De” and its sequel. The film should start shooting in December 2024 but has now been delayed.
According to reliable sources, “Ranger” is being restructured due to budget issues. “It’s a big-budget film but the current market for feature films isn’t great”.
“Digital and satellite platforms aren’t offering enough money, which puts a financial risk on the producer, Luv Ranjan. He is now revising the film’s budget,” the source revealed.
Ajay Devgn is trying to help secure a better deal with digital platforms, but they are holding off until market conditions improve.
The source added, “Digital platforms overvalued films earlier, and now they are making corrections. “Ranger” is one of the films affected by this situation”.
Meanwhile, Ajay will finish shooting “De De Pyaar De 2” and then start working on “Dhamaal 4”.
