Actress Kangana Ranaut, who was recently seen in the political drama Emergency, announced her new project on social media.
On Monday, the Queen star shared a post on her Instagram Stories featuring a clapperboard from the shoot location of her upcoming untitled film. Meanwhile, the happy news is that Ranaut will team up with her Tanu Weds Manu co-star R Madhavan for the upcoming pan-India film, which is touted to be a psychological thriller. For the unaware, the film was announced in 2023.
The actress, who is also a BJP MP from Mandi, shared the pic with a caption, “Nothing is more delightful than being on a film set.” The film is directed by Vijay and produced by R Ravindran of Trident Arts.
Madhavan and Kangana have a long history of collaboration. They previously worked together on Aanand L Rai’s 2011 romantic comedy Tanu Weds Manu, which became a superhit at the box office. They again paired opposite in the sequel titled 2015’s Tanu Weds Manu Returns, which too was a hit.
