Director Praveen Kandregula, who made his debut with the OTT film Cinema Bandi, is back with his second film, Paradha, starring Anupama Parameswaran.
The film also features Darshana Rajendran, a Malayalam actress and senior actress Sangeetha in key roles. Dulquer Salmaan released the teaser for the film today.
The teaser starts with a voiceover introducing the main character Subbu played by Anupama Parameswaran. The narrator explains that Subbu travels a long way and spends 70 lakhs to end her life.
As the teaser continues it reveals the village’s old traditions and superstitions such as women covering their faces and the frightening practice of Sati. The teaser grabs attention with its intriguing subject.
The music for the film is composed by Gopi Sundar, and Ananda Media is producing Paradha, which will be released in both Telugu and Malayalam. The film’s release date is still pending.
