Anuja follows the story of a little girl who works at a garment factory, navigating difficult circumstances as she has to make a decision that would affect her and the future of her family.
Out of the 180 films, only five films have qualified for the Best Live Action Short Film category. Alongside Anuja, Alien, I’m Not a Robot, The Last Ranger, and A Man Who Would Not Remain Silent have been nominated for the Oscars 2025.
The 97th Oscars will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 2, and the event will be hosted by Conan O’Brien, marking his first time hosting.
