Director SS Rajamouli inaugurated India’s first Dolby certified postproduction facility at Annapurna Studios. Nagarjuna also attended the event.
This modern facility is designed to improve the audio visual quality of Indian films giving filmmakers a world class space to create movies that meet global standards.
The partnership between Annapurna Studios and Dolby reflects their dedication to innovation and advancing Indian cinema.
The event featured a special screening of RRR scenes in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Rajamouli shared “Earlier we had to go to Germany for Dolby Vision grading. Now Annapurna Studios has its own Dolby Vision setup and Dolby Cinemas will soon be everywhere in India”.
Nag praised Annapurna Studios for embracing new technologies saying, “As we mark 50 years, this partnership with Dolby is a big step forward for cinema’s future”.
Supriya Yarlagadda, Executive Director of Annapurna Studios, added that this facility will help filmmakers create better, more emotional movies, marking a new chapter for Indian films.
