Sandeep Reddy Vanga has once again shaken Bollywood, but this time, through his latest interview. Known for his bold and unapologetic statements his interviews always stir discussions in the industry.
A common criticism against Sandeep is that his films glorify toxic masculinity yet similar portrayals in other Bollywood movies often go unnoticed.
The same happened with Animal, where critics, including Javed Akhtar, slammed the film. However, Sandeep responded not just with record-breaking collections but also with sharp counterpoints, even questioning Javed Akhtar about his own children’s films, leaving him silent.
Now, in his interview with critic and trade analyst Komal Nahta, Sandeep made a shocking revelation. He stated that a major production house refused to cast an actor simply because he had worked in Kabir Singh.
Many speculate that the production house is Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and that the sidelined actor is Soham Majumdar. This has reignited debates about Bollywood’s double standards.
Interestingly, while many who criticized Animal are now praising Ranbir Kapoor’s performance, Sandeep’s revelations have left Bollywood scrambling for answers.
