Hrithik Roshan and his father, Rakesh Roshan have been working on Krrish 4 for the past few months. However the project faced delays due to financial issues, and things became uncertain after director Siddharth Anand and his team left.
The latest update is that Hrithik Roshan himself will direct the film. Leading production house Yash Raj Films has now joined hands with FilmKraft Productions to back this big-budget project.
The movie’s regular shoot will begin early next year, once Hrithik wraps up his current projects.
Announcing the news, Rakesh Roshan said “I’m handing over the responsibility of directing Krrish 4 to my son Hrithik, who has been deeply involved in this franchise since the beginning”.
“He has a strong vision for the film, and I couldn’t be prouder to see him take charge of something that means so much to our family”.
