The court has ordered the seizure of Annai Illam the home of legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan. In response, actor Prabhu has filed a petition to cancel this order.
The issue began when Sivaji Ganesan’s grandson Dushyan, took a loan of Rs. 3.75 crore for the movie Jagajala Killadi. Since the loan was not repaid legal action was taken, leading to the court’s decision to seize the house.
Earlier, Sivaji Ganesan’s eldest son, Ramkumar, also filed a petition, stating that the house legally belongs to his brother, Prabhu.
Now, Prabhu has personally stepped in, saying, “My father legally transferred Annai Illam to me with my siblings’ consent”.
“The confiscation order has nothing to do with me, and I was shocked to hear about it. This action should be canceled”. The court is expected to hear the case soon.
