Karate Legend Shihan Hussaini Passes Away

Shihan Hussaini, the pioneer of Isshinryu Karate in India, actor, sculptor, archer, and record-holder, passed away at 66 after battling blood cancer. He breathed his last at a private hospital in Chennai this morning, with his family confirming the news.

He trained Pawan Kalyan in Karate, set incredible endurance records, and even coached the Korean Archery team to gold at the Rio Olympics. His contributions went beyond martial arts, as he pursued excellence in multiple fields.

A devoted admirer of Jayalalithaa and a dynamic actor seen in Vijay’s Badri, Hussaini lived a fearless life. His legacy will continue to inspire many.

The Tamil film industry and the martial arts community deeply mourn his loss.
