Vijay’s much-awaited action film Jana Nayagan will hit theaters worldwide on January 9th 2026, for the Pongal festival. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in this high-budget entertainer.
The film’s shoot is nearly done, with 80% completed and Vijay expected to wrap up his part by April. Rumors suggest it’s a remake of Balakrishna’s Bhagavath Kesari, though no confirmation yet.
Jana Nayagan is Vijay’s final film before his political entry, making it even more special for fans.
Directed by H Vinoth, the film features music by Anirudh Ravichander and is produced by KVN Productions.
