Shruti Haasan recently shared a special video with her father legendary actor Kamal Haasan on social media.
In the emotional post Shruti talked about her love for music and how her father influenced her musical journey. She posted a video of them performing together and wrote, “I’ve loved singing since childhood. My mom made me learn and practice, but my favorite singing partner has always been my dad @ikamalhaasan”.
She also shared that Kamal Haasan gave her the confidence to perform on stage, a place she now considers her second home. “He taught me that the stage is our home, to never be afraid, and to express all my emotions” she added. She ended her post by saying, “My favorite then and my favorite always. Love is music”.
The video beautifully captures the bond between the father and daughter showing their deep connection through music.
Meanwhile Shruti will be performing at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium during the Royal Challengers Bangalore vs. Mumbai Indians match as part of the Women’s Premier League.
She has sung many hit songs, including “Aazma” (Luck), “Cinema Chupistha Mama” and the latest chartbuster “Disco” from Coolie, composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
On the work front Shruti is preparing for the release of Coolie her upcoming film with Rajinikanth. Reports suggest that Pooja Hegde will perform a special dance number in this Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial.
