
After delivering a hit with ‘KA’, Kiran Abbavaram returned to the big screen with ‘Dilruba’, which was released on March 14th. Directed by Vishwa Karun, the film was produced by Ravi, Jojo Jose, and Rakesh Reddy under Shivam Celluloids, Saregama, and A Udly banners.
Expectations were high for ‘Dilruba’, but the film received negative talk on its first day, affecting its opening collections. Despite hopes for a strong first weekend, it failed to gain momentum.

Dilruba had a theatrical business of Rs. 8.6 crore, it needs to collect Rs. 9 crore to break even. However, by the end of its first weekend, the film managed to earn only Rs. 1.05 crore share, leaving a break-even target of Rs. 7.95 crore still to be achieved.
