Mumbai Police have filed a case against unknown individuals for illegally sharing Chhaava online.
Rajat Rahul Haksar, CEO of an anti-piracy agency reported 1,818 links where the film was streamed. Cyber police are now tracking the culprits.
Starring Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Chhaava was released on February 14th 2025.
Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Maddock Films it also features Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna.
The film’s box office slowed down after controversies related to Aurangzeb’s tomb. On its 35th day, it earned Rs. 1.67 crore with 8.57% Hindi occupancy.
